Selemion™ is a ion-exchange-membrane and the related technology as developed originally by Asahi Glass after years of research and development.
There are two types of ion-exchange membranes: anion-exchange and cation-exchange membranes.
These membranes are films which are 100-200 micron meter in thickness, having ion passing pores of a few Angstrom in diameter,in which fixed ion of anion or cation are introduced.
Utilization of electric energy = Electrodialysis
Utilization of concentration difference = Diffusion Dialysis
Utilization of electric energy and electrode reaction= Electroysis

NEOSEPTA® is a ion exchange membrane with a higher ionic perm-selectivity, lower electric resistance, good compatibility to chemicals.
The membranes are suitable for the production of salt from sea-water, purification of food and pharmaceuticals, recovery of valuables, wastewater treatment.
EDCORE® is an electrode with a smooth surfaced seamless and tubular ion exchange membrane.
Since it is nearly free from fouling, membrane break and wrinkles, it is applicable to electro deposition painting of automobile, building material, house appliance, etc. , desalination and concentration.
